Dr. Jennifer Stinson, Au.D.

Dr. Stinson grew up in the Wilkes-Barre / Scranton area.  At a young age, she developed an interest in the connection between hearing and language development.  She has two aunts who are speech therapists who she looks up to very much and wanted to follow in their footsteps.  In high school, Dr. Stinson began on her path by taking several sign language classes.  She enrolled in Bloomsburg University and majored in Speech Pathology & Audiology.  As an undergrad, Dr. Stinson worked as an intern in several audiology clinics.  She also worked in other audiology clinics  assisting patients with hearing aid care and doing industrial hearing screenings.  Dr. Stinson completed her doctoral degree in 2007 upon completion of a thesis in otoacoustic emissions.

After obtaining her doctoral degree, Dr. Stinson worked with various ear, nose and throat clinics in Northeastern Pennsylvania.  Dr. Stinson then moved to Sacramento, California.  While in California, she worked for a large and growing private practice providing audiology services.  When that private practice was bought out by a large hearing aid manufacturer she returned to Pennsylvania and settled in the Lehigh Valley.

Dr. Stinson is currently the National Clinical Director of Audiology Services for a large management company that provides mobile medical care for nursing home residents.  Dr. Stinson oversees all the audiology services that company provides in 13 states.  Dr. Stinson helped to develop their business model and electronic medical records system for audiology services. She travels to various states training other audiologists and technicians.  While maintaining her passion for nursing home care, she also missed the small town, patient-centered care provided in private practice.  She realized a long-time dream of opening her own audiology practice in her current hometown of Allentown, Pa in July of 2018.  She is honored to have the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-first audiology care to her friends and neighbors here in the Lehigh Valley.

In her free time, Dr. Stinson enjoys the outdoors, biking, gardening and hiking. She is a member of the Allentown West Rotary Club and enjoys volunteering in the community.  She also likes to spend time with her family, friends and her rescue dog Marlee.
